The Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the School consigns in the newly invested Office Bearers. This momentous day of Hindustan International School, Karapakkam, dated 28.06.2019 dawned to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talents of the School to lead from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence in the presence of the Joint Director-Lt. Gen Bobby Mathews, Principal-Mrs Iris Theodore, Staff and their Parents.

The School held the ceremony with great enthusiasm and lot of zeal and zest. The leadership qualities in Students give them a feel of being an important and integral part of the Administrative Body the ‘Student Council’. It is formed every year in our School.

The event began with a march by the newly elected members. The Program began with a prayer. Students were conferred with badges and sashes by our Joint Director Lt.Gen. Bobby Mathews who very strongly delivered a thought provoking message to the students to “Walk the Talk” not to “Talk the Walk” which is a mark of a true Leader. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledged to perform their duties to the best of their abilities. Our beloved Principal, Mrs Iris Theodore felicitated the gathering and motivated the students by her speech. She said that “Good Leaders learn to say NO to good of the world to say YES to the best” and that they have the capacity to translate the “Vision into Reality”. She inspired the young leaders to let their Badges of Honour, though small in size, be able to accommodate the big Vision of our Founder Dr KCG Varghese-“To make every man a success and no man a failure” through their leadership.

The program ended with the National Anthem followed by a fellowship of the Parents, Students and Staff over a cup of Coffee.
